Focaccia Bread is Vegan, Delicious and I Made it!

I’ve never made bread in my life! And I made this crispy, fluffy, delicious focaccia bread on the very first go!

Focaccia bread is vegan – awesome!

Now if you’re looking for the recipe I’m going to send you here < because that’s where I found it.

One of my friends told me that this is blog worthy so I agreed and decided to write a blog about it. So here we are.

What I want to say is that there is a pretty awesome sense of accomplishment that comes with making your own bread. It might be primal, I’m not sure. Like I somehow because a better caretaker of the family because I can now make bread, lol.

I decided to buy some aluminum pans because I didn’t have one the right size and I didn’t have full confidence in my abilities, yet. So I figured spend $3 rather than $30 and see how it goes, first.

Well I’m very proud of how well this came out. I followed the recipe exactly so I recommend you do the same. Who knows, you just might be showing off YOUR Focaccia Vegan bread all over social media like I did, lol!

Here are some pictures of it during the process of making it:

This is the bread dough. I was a little concerned as our fridge is on the fritz and will freeze things. After leaving the dough overnight it was getting close to freezing so I left it to rise for 4 hours (the recipe said 2-4 hours).

It was pretty enjoyable poking the little holes in the dough with my fingers here. Literal play dough:

I was thrilled with how it turned out! Crispy focaccia bread!

When I told my husband that I was making focaccia bread he said he had never heard of it which I was so surprised about. He’s a bread guy. I thought everyone knew about it!

I’m really excited to try making focaccia bread art with my next batch – just because it looks so fun and creative!

Because the bread is a bit different from the normal loaf you might wonder how to eat focaccia bread?

Personally I just eat it. Today it was my accidental lunch because I ate so much lol! But normally it’s great with soup or chili or as a side to whatever comfort meal you’re having.

You can also make some delicious sandwiches out of focaccia!

I’ll be storing my focaccia bread with saran wrap on top and leaving it out on the counter. That is until I hear otherwise. I did do a quick google search and that seems fine?

If you decide to make your own focaccia bread I hope you enjoy the process and the results as much as I did!
